The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway in Cumbria have recently opened a new pub ‘The Ratty Arms’ on the railway station at Ravenglass and are displaying carriage prints of local locations above the beautifully refurbished bar.

We called in for a coffee (too early for real ale !) when visiting the railway. We were in the area trying to locate the exact spot the artist, David Cobb, was situated when painting the carriage print artwork for Ravenglass and concluded that he must have taken a boat out onto the sands to get his viewpoint!

We wish Stuart and the railway every success with the pub and the railway this year – and many thanks for the order!
